Tina, You will soon be on the other side of this surgery and will begin a new chapter. Take one step at a time, surround yourself with people that encourage. I'm praying for you. April 18th is the beginning of a new day. Hugs~ Annie

Had my surgery
on June 23, 2011 8:58 pm
I had originally wanted to have the lap band, but after consulting with other people who had gastric bypass (4/18/2011)
I decided to do that insted. I am very pleased with the result of my surgery, and feel much better physically.
There have been a few minor struggles with my diet, but overall I feel I made the right choice.
Two months & 50 lbs lost so far!!! On my way to my primary weight loss goal of -128 lbs

My Story

Well folks... I have a great life in so many ways God has truly blessed me! I have a wonderful husband and 5 great children. I own my own business, and love my work  *:o)
Problem: As you must know, my weight is out of control, and has been most of my life. You know the story, chubby kid , thick teenager, over 200 lbs. most of my adult life. Now I'm 46 and it worries me that my weight will lead to my untimely demise.
I have been interested in WLS for some time, but couldnt get insurance because of my size. NOW I have my insurance, and I am going after this with a vengence! I want the Lap band from what I have read.

Blessings,

Tina
