Surgeon Testimonial

Neil E. Hutcher M.D.
It has been 3.5 years since my RNY surgery . I sit here healthy and happy due to the surgical excellence of Dr. Neil Hutcher . He is an awesome man , and my first impession of him was his devotion for helping people fight obesity . He has always been there for me . His staff has always treated me as one of the family and are always very helpful . If you are searching a doctor , I would highly recomend this man and his staff . When you have Dr. Huthcer he is yours for life . His after care program is the best in the Nation .
His bedside manner has always been a serious one . He wants us to take good care and he gives us the tools to do so .
Words cannot express how I feel about him . And I have no regrets .. other than not doing this sooner .

FIGHTING TO KEEP IT REAL
on September 20, 2008 5:28 am
Wow, it has been a couple of  months since I updated here . Well , I am still maintaining my weight loss . That is the best news !
I am still dealing with kidney stone issues . I have been in the hospital 2 times since April. I had a stent put in and a complete Urether failure. The pain was more than I could ever describe. I am doing much better, but learned yesterday that I have low parathyroid - low vitamin D and low calcium . We a are working to correct it with Rocaltrol and more calcium . My osteoporosis can be treated this way I am being told . I sure hope so .

I am now working on a WLS cruise for June of 09. We are loooking at sailing via Carnival . If you want details - go to www.vawlsevents.com

Alan and I are now preparing to move back to the south Richmond area. He just got confirmation from Homeland Security of a possible job opportunity . I am very excited. I have much work to do down there with my grandsons.

Well , that is about it for now . Take it easy .. and love one another .

 Life Is A Gift "

Today before you say an unkind word,
Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food,
Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife,
Think of someone who's crying out for a companion.

Today before you complain about life,
Think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before you complain about your children,
Think of someone who desires children but they're barren.

Before you complain about cleaning your house,
Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive,
Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job,
Think of the unemployed, and those who wish they had your job.

And before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another,
Remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one maker.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down,
Put a smile on your face and thank God you're alive and well.

Life is a gift, Live it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it, And Fulfill it.
