I just got back from Dr. K's . And so far so good . No infection in the left butt cheek , but the right one is still draining . The culture came back and it is a staph infection.. this is why I have been feeling so ill lately . I am still on Augmentum .. and he took me off the Levequine. He cleaned my burn .. OMG I am getting feeling into my butt area .. I could feel everything he was doing . I do not want to even imagine what burn victims do when this happens . 

The wound in the front is healed .. Thank God !! It went from an open 4 X 4 X 2 deep to a now tiny looking scab.. 8 weeks to heal you guys .. 8 weeks

I can tell ALL of you this . Please take into consideration when you go for your PS consult , that your skin will be different after WLS . Remember that we do absorb our nutrients as we did before and this too will hinder healing . We are so different than people that have not had the surgery . This has been the longest 8 weeks I have ever spent . And all of it has been to heal and complications . I am not saying that all  people will have  complications .. but I tell you to please be aware of what can happen . Be aware too that swelling can last up to a year depending on what type sugery type you have . Do I regret this . No way .. After all of this is said and done , I will have the body I have strived for . I will need to get back into the gym for my legs and arms .. no more sugery for me except for my implants .. that I will get once ALL these wounds are done .. Once the implants are in .. I am done .. 
But please do your homework .. it is not a walk in the park .. more like a kyack down a winding river .. be prepared for bumps... but a lovely trip once it is over .
