I am 56 years old, with heart stents, diabetes and sleep apnea.  I began considering weightloss surgery after my sister-in-law had it, and went from baggy to beautiful.  My diabetes was advancing due to my refusal/inability to stop overeating, and I was afraid of losing my vision, my kidneys, or the feeling in my feet.  Having once thought gastric bypass was too extreme and 'unnatural', I realized going blind, kidneyless or limbless was the epitome of  'unnatural'.  So I started researching the subject and decided to go for it.
