Surgeon Testimonial

David Arnold, M.D.
I have been very impressed with his experience, his knowledge, and his bedside manner. He really seems to put his patients first. The office staff is very organized and caring. They always try to answer any question you have and know exactly what to say. Aftercare is a huge part of this program. The surgery is only a tool to assist in your weight loss. The rest is up to you and this program gives you all the support you need from nutrition classes to support group meetings to frequent follow up visits with the surgeon himself.

Once I had insurance approval I had a surgery date within the week and had pre-op date and times set just as quickly, very impressed.

Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench! ~ JudyAnne

Happy Thanksgiving
on November 22, 2007 6:36 pm
Happy Turkey Day to everyone.  Today I have so much to be thankful for.  I have a wonderful DH, two terrific and loving boys, a very supportive family, and unbelievable friends.

My surgery is in less than a month and I cannot help but wonder how life will be different on this day next year.  People always say "what a difference a year makes" and I cannot wait to find out.

I have my nutrition class and psych class on Nov 29th and my pre-op labs/EKG/CXR/Upper GI/ and dopper study on Dec 4th.  I am sure the time will really start to fly now.

I had to work today but was blessed to have not one but 2 turkey dinners.  The hospital provided one and my wonderful DH and sons brought me dinner from the family get together.  It was really yummy.  I know it had to count as x-mas too for this year so I really enjoyed it.

On Dec 1st I am starting on my pre-op diet, want to try to shrink up my liver the best I can before surgery.  Anything I can do to make Dr. Arnold's work easier I am going to do.

Happy Thanksgiving to all
