Paul P. Lin MD Dr Lin was very straight forward when speaking with me. He explained the procedure in full detail to me and let me know what to expect and what not to expect. I was very impressed with is knowledge and demeanor. Although I have an HMO I was also told that they will continue to follow my care well after the surgery. I just can't express how much I was impressed with Dr Lin and his staff. My Overallrating would be Outstanding thus far.
I know it has been a while since my last post. Everything is going OK for me, I am still maintaining, no gain no loss. I know that the reason for my plateau is because I had not been exercising but I am now back in the gym doing what I should have never stop doing. I believe sometimes i get lax but that is out. Some people have started to say that I have changed but I think that I am just being me, before I placed everyone before me and now I place me first and that is what people don't understand. I can assure my fellow OH friends that I will post more and continue to exercise, I want to get down to 180 and that will take discipline, but guess what It will be achieved.
No I haven't disappeared! I am doing good went to see my surgeon the other day and he was impressed with my progress. I had plateaued for a few months and I know it is because I could not consume food. I do not know why but I could only, honestly eat chocolate, which is very strange because I never liked chocolate, but it was the only thing that would not make me sick. I am now doing much better and sugar free. Wonderful, I can't believe how quickly the weight loss starts back. Well, I am at work and it is very busy, update again later. Much Love, Raynise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am now down 90 lbs and feeling fine. I had an appointment about 2 1/2 weeks ago and the only problem is that I am Vitamin D deficient so now I am taking 50,000 units a week for 12 weeks and then 50,00 units a month for six. I have really been deside myself though I cannot stop shopping. It seems as though everytime I turn around my size is differnet. I had bought 22's now I am between 20 and 18. the 20's are loose, loose but that is cool I am still wearing everything. I even still wear my work shirts from before I had surgery. I used to always say that I wa fine before surgery but I really can say that I feel 110% better and I still have some work to do. Oh, and before I forget that only other problem that I have is when I sit for to long my butt starts to hurt, LOL, If I think I didn'y have any cushion before it is reallly gone now, more LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went to the doctor on Thursday to discuss BC and was informed that I needed to have my HgA1c checked. Called on Friday for results and WOW a excellent " 6 " . Since my surgery I am down 63 lbs no longer take any Diabetes Meds and now my A1c is on point. I feel Great!
I am down 63 lbs and in need of clothes. Because I have an already flat bottom all of my ppants are extra saggy in the rear. My co-worker told me a week ago that it looks like I had a really big budunkadunk and now its gone. Because I wear uniforms at work, I had to go out and purchase my own black pants ( more convienent than trying to wear plain clothes since my size is steadily changing) which it seems as if I am doing this often. I am not upset or complaining but it is very costly to continue and by pants. My shirts so far are fine because I prefer to wear big shirts anyhow. I think I will visit the clothing exchange and offer some of my too big clothes seeing that most of them are new anyway.
