My Story

I had my surgery 03/09/07. I lost 78 lbs. I lost my job and my insurance in June of 2008.
I have gained most of my weight back through stress and depression. I know what makes me eat and why I eat it.
I have no access to a bariatric physician and hope I don't have any issues with the band slipping or worse.
So remember, when you have the surgery, you have to have doctor followup or you are on your own, just throwing up when you eat too fast or too much and hoping to maintain a diet that you really weren't able to do before the surgery. That's why you got surgery!
