I'm tSqrD3 and I'm 25 from Philadelphia Pa!! I just happen to find this website looking somethings up about weight lost surgery and I love it!!! I registered right after seeing the many people like me out there who had the surgery and have had amazing results !!! I cant wait to do my before/after pics a year from now!! Excited

Wow I'm super excited that I have found this website!! I'm hoping to meet other people like me and who could give me some great advice on what to expect. My surgery will be 2/27/2012 and It is just sooooooooooo far away!! I'm wishing it was a lot sooner lol. A little about myself, I come from an overweight family. I have been big my entire life, and always saw the social negatives of being overweight. Growing up was tough, having majority skinny friends. So to me, I was just the fat goofy silly friend with no boyfriends but just boy "friends". Now that I'm older, I see that being overweight is much more then a social problem but could result in long term irreversible health problems. As of right now, I am healthy, despite being over weight. High cholesterol, diabetes, and cardiovascular problems definitely run in my family, being that many of my family members are overweight. I'm also a mother, as well as engaged !!! I really think its important for me to focus on my health and be sure that I'm around for many years to my family. So for now, this is where I'll stop. Ill keep ya posted

My Story

My story is pretty much that of someone who has been overweight her whole life. I don't have any health issues other then being overweight. I basically am going forward with weight lost surgery to avoid any potential health problems that may arise as a result of being over weight. Also, I would not be honest if I didn't say this is something to pursue for self esteem as well. That definitely plays a part in my decision. I just want to be healthy physically, mentally, and emotionally. Last but not least i need to be around for a long time for my daughter and my family.
