Surgeon Testimonial

STEVEN C. SIMPER, M.D., F.A.C.S.
I choose Dr. Simper because of the extensive experience of him and his partners. I haven't met him yet but will update then.
When I met Dr Simper it was at a pre-surgery education class. He was very patient with the long list of questions and answered them well. After surgery he visited both mornings. Very short and to the point visits. But I didnt choose him to be my friend. He is VERY experienced in this surgery and that gave me alot of comfort. After care is not optional. When you see him for surgery you have already paid for a support group after. Thier website is geared for post-op's. I would rate him excellent!

I am very depressed.  It has been awhile since coming here.  I have now gained back 30lbs and am feeling very hopeless.  In evaluating things I see that my addiction to food will overcome the good of the surgery if I let it.  Anyone reading this needs to understand the importance of treating your addictions along with the surgery.  Had I understood more of how this would work, I would have gone into therapy at the same time as going under the knife.  I am so very grateful for the weightloss I have had.  It scares me silly to think that it may come back on...  I will work hard on recognizing the why's and how come's so that it won't.
