Surgeon office requesting approval for surgery from Insurance

I called my Surgeon office yesterday to see if they received the notes from my 3rd Month Pre-Op check up.  She asked me to hold on, she will look into it.  While she was looking into it,  we were chatting a little.  She then advised me that she did received the notes.  She then told me to hold on again and see if she had everything else needed for surgery.  She says yes we do.  i will go ahead and send the insurance company the requested auth for approval.  I was shocked cause she ofiginally told me that i needed six months of a pre diet first.  I just hope it does not come back as a denial cause she made a mistake on the number of months of the pre diet.  I hope she is correct and does not get my hopes up for a possible surgery next month.  Well see in two weeks if i get the approval or not.  Keep you updated.
