My first and last OH blog post

Please follow me on my YouTube channel. I am keeping a vlog there that follows this entire process of researching weight loss surger, fighting for the procedure I need, and going through the procedure. The editing is very time consuming, so I don't really have time for both that and a written blog here.

My Story

Weight gain began at age 11. Lost it through exercise alone at age 15. Been bouncing up and down the scale ever since.

The past couple of years have seen significant joint issues. 

Born in the Pacific Northwest, I moved to Texas to find work and be near my family. Met my husband here. We've been together over 10 years, so I've stopped counting. We have a cat. No kids.

I'm unable to sit up for long periods, making my previous occupation of clerical support/call center rep impossible. Currently, I am working on launching an independent film studio with my husband.
