Surgeon Testimonial

Sheldon Randall, M.D.
Dr. Randall is extremely informative and all about good health. He takes time to make sure you understand all the risks of surgery and explains each type of surgery to you so that you are well informed. Each month he is at the support group meeting to help those who have had the surgery and those considering it. This doctor is one that will guide you on the road to a healthy life and I'm blessed with having been directed to him by my primary care physician. My aftercare with Dr. Randall was the best. If I called him, he called immediately right back. Was always reassuring and no question was to small for him to take the time to answer. You're in the best of hands and care with him.

Feeling Good
Well I'll be 17 weeks out tomorrow and down 63 lbs.  I've gone from a size 22/24 to a 14/16 in that short of a period of time.  With the weight loss has come the feeling and thinking healthy.  What a great feeling it is.  I still cannot believe I've lost this much so far.

Getting enough protein and water in each day still remains a battle.  I've found creative ways of eating more protein but I know it's still not enough but I'm getting there.  I'm up to 1/2 the amount of fluids I need per day.  My little pouch is really sensitive to drinking anything.  I do find hot tea to be very friendly to my pouch, so I drink as much decaf tea during the day.

I'm officially running out of clothes to wear as everything I put on just hangs on me.  My coat looks like something a bag lady would be wearing.  My daughter just laughs as I come out with whatever I decided would be appropriate to wear.  Then she shakes her head and says that it's time to invest in clothes.  Very expensive to do and not sure how some people deal with this.  I need the clothes fairy to drop by my house..... lol
