Charlene, I read your stuff and that you came home today!!! I went to my surgeon (in Tulsa Oklahoma) yesterday (Feb 24th) and much to my surprise, he suggested I have lap banding instead of rny. He said he'll do either....it's up to me. In all fairness to the doctor, I'm trying to talk to people who have had the lap banding and find out what helped them come to that decision? Any input you have, I'd really be thankful for. You can email me at [email protected], Vanessa
Good luck on your upcoming surgery. I wish you a speedy recovery. Remember you have a strong support system here on OH waiting to advise and assist you in whatever way we can. Come over to the Texas Message Board and keep us updated on your progress.
May the Lord plant a hedge of angels around you and give you an uneventful surgery. I am praying for you. “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; Surely, I will heal you.” (2 Kings 20:5)
I wish you a journey that is safe, and uneventful. I commend you on having the courage to take your own health and happiness into your own hands. Be Blessed!! Stay Strong in teh struggle, and remember you never walk alone *smile* You'll be in my prayers!! *smoochies*
