Dr. Schram is a great man. He truly cares about his patients. He was very open about the risks of surgery and the advantages. He answers all your questions and then some :-)

I've now had surgery and just wanted to add that Dr.Schram says a prayer before you go into surgery. Loved that! Very comforting.

Tuesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. Update
Okay...so I really suck at this blog thing. LOL I'm just over 6 mths post-op and extremly happy. I am down 111 lbs now and my life is so much better. No regrets!!! This was the right decision for me :-)!! For those of you who haven't made a decision yet...research and research some more. This surgery has changed my life and can do the same for you. I love my RNY!!!!!!!
