TOP TEN REASONS I WANT TO HAVE WLS

1. MY HEALTH(I USED TO WANT TO FOR VANITY PURPOSES)

2. TO BE ABLE TO SHOP IN A REGULAR STORE

3. TO BE ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH MY FOUR KIDS (ALMOST 19, ALMOST 15, ALMOST 10 AND ALMOST 8, THEY ARE TO MUCH FOR ME AT THIS WEIGHT! AND I DO NOT WANT THEM TO BE EMBARRASSED OF ME. ALTHOUGH THEY SAY THEY ARE NOT!)

4 TO KEEP UP WITH MY MARATHON PEFORMING HUSBAND(JUST WANT TO BE ACTIVE AGAIN)

5. NOT TO HAVE TO TAKE ALL OF THOSE MEDS OR COMORBIDS (AND PAY FOR THEM)

6. TO BE ABLE TO WALK IN A PLACE AND NOT FEEL CENTER OF ATTENTION BECAUSE I AM SO LARGE.

7. TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK AND TEACH IN PUBLIC WITHOUT FEELING LIKE I AM GOING TO FALL OUT FROM EMBARRASSMENT(JUST WANT TO DO THE WILL OF GOD WITHOUT ANY HINDRANCES)

8. BE ABLE TO GET ON A RIDE, SIT IN A CHAIR WITHOUT FEAR OF IT BRAKING(HAS HAPPENED)

9. BEING ABLE TO WARE HEELS AGAIN AND FEEL LIKE A WOMAN (JUST BE SEXY AGAIN-FOR MY HUSBAND OF COURSE)

10. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST BY ANY MEANS, BEING ABLE TO BE THE FREAK ACROBAT I USED TO BE WITH MY HUSBAND!

2+ weeks of waiting and counting

I found out yesterday that I have to wait at least another couple of weeks before I can even get a date. One of my doctors is holding the ball and she does not want to play the game! 

I am kind of mad about it but it is still all good. At least I know it will happen sooner than later. All is well. I will keep you all informed. They did tell me it would be March, so now I am sure the end of the month is what it will be.

I have been calling and calling my insurance company to find out if I have been approved. And I got so bad that I called a couple of times per day. 

Well it paid off!!! 

I AM APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that my paperwork was already sent to the insurance company and they have the file open at this time. You know that I will be calling them everyday until I get an answer! I will keep you all posted.

I had the blood gas test ouch!!

Man that hurt, not so much when they put the needlein,  but when they took it out. And come to find out I have to have it done again... Yuk!! 

I did speak to the surgeons insurance person and she informed me I did a really good job getting things together, and that all she needs is the p-eval and she faxed something to them letting them know this. But once that is in she can submit. I can not wait! So I will continue to pray it all works out in God's timing and that is perfect!

Well, today I went for the sleep study and it has already been confirmed that I have apnea. Sooooo I just needed to go for a download of my machine. And guess what??? Are you guessing?? 

Well anyway I have more than enough data on the download to prove I use that darn thing. And all I have to do is get a blood test of some sort and she will send the release to my surgeon??? Hip, hip and you know the rest... A sista is so very happy!!! 

I will get the test done on Monday and I have a call into the surgeons office to find out when they will send the paper work. I will keep you all posted. Who knows maybe my insurance company will come back with a quick yes and I could be on my way this month. But March is fine for me, that was the goal in the beginning.
