Hi Everyone! I went back to my PCP today to get my "new" referals needed. Not a problem. They are in hand. He reviewed my blood work I had done a few weeks ago, since he put me on Advicor for my Cholesterol, he said I needed checked periodically to see if I needed B-12 and just how I am doing.  Since May my cholesterol has went down from 243 to 170!! Everything else was in the "perfect zone".  :)

I went to a Hypnotist last night to help quit smoking. The Dr. there said it would not happen overnight for most, depending on how long we've smoked. All I know is the couple I've had in the last 17 hours tastes big time yuck, so I know I am going to suceed this time! :) p/s this Dr. said he's lost from +400lbs to 170lbs, and said he did it with Hypnosis. ?

Now I have a question and want some opinions. My PCP is a very good Dr. I really like him, he's good with my children and me.  Today though he made me uncomfortable.  I told him I was having a numb, tingling sensation under my right breast.  Gallbladder?  Well he lifted my shirt and listened to things in there, and didn't seem concerned. My belly button is peirced and he just reached down and started playing with it.  I told him "don't" and he stopped but was looking me dead in the eyes and asked, "Are your nipples peirced also?" I said, "No, I wouldn't go that far".  Ok he's my Dr,(10 yrs) he's seen a lot of my body, he's been excellent with care and referals for this surgery and everything with my family's health concerns. But It made me feel very uneasy, the touch and the eye contact made, like he was looking for my reaction. I just don't know what to make of this.
