Surgeon Testimonial

Trace Curry
**I made a trip to Cincy to meet my southern friends and also to catch Dr. Curry at a support meeting. I like him! He and his staff are all very knowledgable and personable. Dr. Curry shoots it straight from the hip, he knows what he does and doesn't pretend to know what he don't know, that's why he has a great office staff to accompany him in his practice. I can't wait to have my consult! Will write more after that. rn**ok I'm slow :) 11/15/04 - I had my second consult and consent signing at Dr. C's office. I feel so comfortable with Dr. C and feel extremely confident in him as a surgeon. He is very knowledgeable and loves what he is doing. He truly does care! My surgery date is 11/22/04rn**Dr. Curry's office staff are THE BEST! I have never met an Dr's office staff that make a people feel as welcome as they do. Every question is answered and with a smile. rn**There is NOTHING I do NOT like about Dr. C and his staff! rn**Dr Curry and his staff get a 10+ rating!rn

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
When things didn't go right, I ate, when I was stressed I ate, when I was unhappy I ate. I was on a constant diet, but when I failed, I ate more. Dieting only slowed down my weight gain to a minimal 10+lbs a year. No matter what I did, my weight kept climbing up.

PROUD MOMMA
on May 28, 2008 5:05 pm

Woyeah!

Here in Ohio, slong with getting enough credits to graduate the kids have to take OGT's [Ohio Graduation Tests]. My son passed 4 out of 5!  He scored above average in the 4 he passed and just missed passing the 5th [writing by only 10 pts] This was the 1st time he took the tests! He will have 4 more opportunities to take these tests before he graduates, however he's planning on knocking this 1 out of the park the next time he takes the test in the Fall.

My son is very bright,  however he is a bit different than other kids, at 1st he was diagnose as ADHD, but after years of that treatment, it came about that he has Turrets. Thank God his turrets came out before puberty, after puberty is when the "cussing" gene comes into large play. My Nick, just figet's a lot, drumming on everything, [btw, he joined band as a drummer and this has helped tremendously!] he also makes "noises" sometimes it sounds like a mini-zoo here at home, he also has the twitches and when he get's nerved up, he nealy climbs up the walls.

We also live in an area where our high school is in academic failure, so this is huge accomplishment for any kid. We had opportunity to put Nick in a private school, w/tuition paid, but then we found out that when he graduates from his home high school, his 1st two years of college are paid in full! We decided to take those two years of college!

Now to get him through the next 2 years of high school!

Proud Momma, smiling from ear to ear here!

2 days and an update
on May 28, 2008 4:51 pm
Well 1st an update.  I didn't get a chance to ride my bike to work yet.  Umm I had a slight difference of opinion with a car.  It took a wide right turn, I was at a stop sign, it clipped my handlebars and over I rolled.  My foot was stuck under it, I wiggled loose, picked the bike up and rode it back home.

My foot is broken.

2 days at my old job,
5 days, till I start my new job,
what a way to begin a new job,

damaged.

Till I start my new JOB!

I've been driving RT 30 miles a day for a low paying job, with gas soaring, I was about at the end of my proverbial rope.   [I haven't gotten the courage up to ride my bike on the HWAY all the way there, those people are nuts out that way!   However I've ridden it several times now, and further than work, but.. well  I  when I am tired, I won't ride, when it's raining I won't venture out till I am more experienced,  I anticipate Weds to be the 1st for that trip though!   I need a cargo net, so I can carry my lunch and stuff I need at work.  This gal does NOT eat fast food for lunch or dinner, and when I do it is extremely rare, besides it is cheaper and better for me.  Period.

Anyways, so I've been looking, interviewing, etc for other jobs for a few months now.  I had an interview a week ago Friday, and was offered the JOB last Friday!   RT for this job is 6 miles, more money and less hours!  Excellent I say, how can I refuse?   I couldn't so I start the new job on June 2!

I got some of the issues with SS also taken care of today, I have to make a couple other calls tomorrow, then I should be on the mend, financially and mentally!    I hope!

For real here it is!  You should have seen it BEFORE I cleaned and wrenched on it.  Still needs some elbow grease!

After busting my knuckles for months
and learning my bike it is FINALLY ROAD WORTHY!

I had been doing ALL the wrenching on it myself    and had it to where it would turn on and run for about 5 sec's then it would cut out.  I think every page of the book has a copy of my greasy fingerprints on it.
Well I gave in and took it to a friend, just took a little finer cleaning of the carbs.

I am so frikken excited,  I'm sure y'all know the feeling!

Left it behind though tonight, I'm tired and have to get it insured in the morning.  Just a sleep and a phone call away from RIDING MY OWN!
