IT HAS BEEN 1 YEAR TODAY SINCE SURGERY. I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT I AM NOW ONLY 1 POUND AWAY FROM GOAL! I LOSS 146 POUNDS AS OD TODAY! I AM FEELING VERY HEALTHY AND HAPPY!!!!!!

Surgeon Testimonial Randal Baker, M.D. 1/26/07 I WENT AND MET DR. BAKER THIS MORNING. I WAS QUITE IMPRESSED WITH HIM. HE SEEMED VERY NICE AND ACTED LIKE A CARING DOCTOR. I THINK FOM EVERYTHING I HAVE LEARNED SO FAR THAT HE WILL BE A GOOD DOCTOR FOR ME. HE SAID THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY COMPLICATIONS BECAUSE OF MY ANEURYSM! THAT MADE ME FEEL BETTER. update on December 26, 2007 12:00 am this is the day after christmas and I did good through the holidays. I am now at 177 pounds and have loss 120 pounds so far. I am feeling great! It will be 8 months at the first of the year.
training on October 2, 2007 3:56 pm well i did my first training session yesterday to be an oh support leader. it was quite interesting. i will be doing my first meeting on nov. 7 at the library in big rapids. i am nervous but i am sure everyone will help me through it! it will be alot of good support. i am looking forward to my first meeting.

SURGERY DATE
on April 18, 2007 4:40 pm APRIL 18, 2007 My Story I am waiting to hopefully get surgery. I went to my orientation last night and today I got sit up for my first appointments. I have been overweight for around 30 years! I have tried every diet you can think of. about 6 years ago, I found out that I have a thoractic aneurysm. They do not want to operate on it as it is very risky for me. One thing that will make my aneurysm grow is high blood pressure. I have had bad blood pressure for quite sometime. I take all kinds of medicine but my weight is affecting my life. For years I have performed as a country gospel singer and now feel out of place when iI have to walk up on a stage with everyone looking at me. It is hard to move sometimes. I love to sing for the Lord and I would like my life to be different so I can get my health under control. I have 4 children and 9 grandchildren that I want to be around for.
