Well I finally got my 3 month check up about 3 weeks late.  I had of all things Chicken Pox at age 54!!!!!!!  Not only that but it was over Thanksgiving so no get together with the family.  You don't know how much you enjoy everyone until they are not there.  The house was so silent.

Anyway back to the check up.  It was GREAT!!!!!  My A1C is 5.4!!!!!!  Cholesterol is still a little high but not too bad, might have to go back on the medicine for that but hope not.  The only problem I am having is that I still have no energy.  I have to push to do anything, even though I am down 70 lbs.  They suggested trying to get in more exercise, but when you have to push so hard to just walk it is hard to get more.  (even when I feel like I am flying when I walk now)  I can go to sleep just about anywhere again.  Still use the cpap so I know it's not that.  Oh well it will get better.

One thing is I'm afraid that I will wake up and it will all just be a dream and I will be so heavy again.  That is how all of the other weight loss things have seemed to work so just waiting for it to happen again.

Well it was a good day, a terrific day.  The scale is moving again, I have been on the dreaded 3rd week stall.  It lasted 3 whole weeks!!!!!  I am down 43 lbs altogether.  This just makes me crazy happy.  I don't really remember how many years it has been since I have seen this weight.  This is were I was at one time and decided that I would never be this weight ever again in my life.  I lost 40 lbs and then the gain began.  It did take me a few years to gain it back but then I never stopped gaining.  So never say never it will bite you in the buttttt.  I am just so excited that things are moving again. 

I also got my first smartphone today.  Now I am hoping that some of that smart will rub off on me.  I have so much to lean about how to use this.  I have been tring to get an app to download for the last 4 hours.  I know I know it is so easy but the smart is just not rubbing off on me yet.  I will get it.

Wow oh Wow   I can not believe that I have lost a total of 18lbs since surgery!!!!!!  33lbs total!!!!  I had a good check up and all is still really good with all of my co-morbidity's.  Only on one medicine now instead of seven.  My husband even said that I am beginning to have a chin again.  I start mushes today, that lasts for another 3 weeks.  I figure that this is only a short time frame in my whole long life ahead so I can handle it. Here we go!!!!!!

Wow I have all kinds of appointments set up.  Kathryn called today and set up more meetings. I am getting excited now.  They are trying to get everything done so I can have the surgery this summer.  It will be after August 15th.  Cant wait!!!!!!      I have my phsyc. eval. tomorrow.  Hope they don't realize how crazy I really am!!!

Well I am starting this journey to a healthier me.  It is about time as I have been putting this off for to long. I have always felt like I can do this on my own but I have dieted myself to over 300 lbs.  Not good!!!  I want to be healthy.  I want to be able to go and do things instead of being left at home because I can't walk very far or I hurt to bad.  I am done with that life as of now!! 

I called and I have dates set up for a visit with a surgen in August, and a Psychologist  evaluation in July.  I can't wait.  This site is wonderful as it has so much information.  Thank you all.
