My First Blog on Here!!!

Hello everyone.I decided to have WLS cause I tried and tried to lose weight since I was like 17 y/o and I am now 31 y/o.  I decided I wanna be around for my daughter(she will be 3 y/o next month).  I don't wanna end up with my real mom(I was adopted by my real mom's sister when I was 8 months old),she passed away 5 months after she turned 50 y/o cause she had alot of health problems due cause she was huge;she weight over 400#s.   Right now I am Five Foot and at 255#s.  I have decide to go with the Lap Band.  For different reasons.   May 26th me and my cousin(who is doing this with me and another cousin of ours)  have our first appt with the surgeron and dietitian.  I am so excited too.  Today the 28th is my 4th of my 6 months reg dr visit required.
