Surgeon Testimonial

Alexander Nagle
I first met Dr. Alexander Nagel at a weight loss seminar in August of 2009. My first impression was, is this doctor any good and from the seminar I was pleased to find out that Dr. Nagle is a great surgeon. His stuff is great, really great and out of 5 star, I give the stuff and Dr. Nagle 5 stars out of 5 stars. I didn't find anything wrong with Dr. Nagle and his staff. Dr. Nagle and his staff had a wonderful structure for aftercare from weight loss surgery. Dr. Nagle andhis staff did a great job explaning the risks of weight loss surgerney. I had the VSG (Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy) on June 8, 2010. I am now enjoying life now because of Dr. Nagle. Thank you very much Dr. Nagle and thank you to his staff. I'm happy overall with everything that Dr. Nagle and his staff has done for me so I can have a normal life.

I have been overweight most of my life. The weight started to come on around the age of 8 years old or so. It got to the point that my weight go out of hand. One thing that caused my weight gain is that I have an underactive thyroid. I still have have an underactive thyroid to this day. It got to the point my weight got to it highest at 565 pounds. I did see a doctor and a dietitian and my weight start to go down, and I did loss about 150 pounds. It came to a point that I stopped seeing this doctor and dietitian for personal reasons. Years later, I started to see this doctor again and start to see a dietitian again. By this time about 100 of these pounds came back on out of the 150 pounds that I have lost. I know by this time that I needed to have weight loss surgery. So I started my journey in August of 2009 for WLS and I had my surgery in June of 2010. I had the VSG (Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy). The best decision I ever made in my life. The rest is history. Now I am enjoying my life. I got to be doing something everyday. I take each day one at a time.

I started my journey back in August of 2009 with a meeting like group. There was a dietitian, surgeon, and a doctor or two. That's were I had to fill out an application form and turn it in. The surgeon that was their, is the one that did the weight loss surgery on me. I am very happy the way things are going for me now. Starting a new life and new rules to go with it. It's going to be a challenge for the rest of my life. I think I can deal with that. I am taking it one step and one day at a time. I think that's the best way to do it. Thanks to the surgeon, I am headed in the right direction.
