blood work tomorrow on July 29, 2009 4:57 pm
I have to stop by my clinic tomorrow before work for fasting blood work. Aug 5 will be my 3 month anniversary. I have to set up appointments with my surgeon and my nutritionist for somewhere around that date. I was hoping to be inder 200 by the 5th, or on whatever date my appointment is. Have to wait and see if i make it or not!! So far no problems, with the exception of my barfing spell a few weeks ago. I'm hoping my bloodwork will come back good. I can now fit in a few 14's. Most of my stuff is 16, but they are loose. I dont feel as "jiggly" LOL. Sometimes, i get the snackies and night, but i usually have a CIB or some hood calorie countdown chocolate milk. Still have a problem with being constipated, i'm going to see if i can get a RX for miralax, it is quite expensive, so i'm hoping the army hospital carries it. It would be extra wonderful if they would start stocking the calcium citrate, all they have is carbonate (dammit) they said they are working on it. The calcium i buy is $12.99 for 60 chewables, and taking 3-4 a day, they go fast, too fast!!

Well, today is a better day. I had the other 2/3 of my slim fast for breakfast, no nausea... I've been pushing the water all day, since i was sick the other day. I had some broth last night, so I had dinner tonight, and I think its going to stay down, I feel good. I had a few bites of meatloaf, and some green beans and mushrooms then about 2 tablespoons of hashbrown cassarole. I know I didnt get my protein in today, so I will make a shake or something tonight to catch up a little. I finally broke down and weighed myself, I am 215, so thats a loss so far of 49 pounds!!! Yipee

HORRIBLE DAY on July 16, 2009 2:00 pm
Okay today is the WORST day ever since surgery. I was doing so good this morning I had my oh yeah vanilla creme shake, took my vitamins went to work. I even had lunch some cheese and a few bites of chicken I even got in about 20 ounces of water before 1pm..... I had my regular afternoon snack, a oh yeah protein bar, and i have been barfing since then, in the car, out the door of my car, on myself in the car and now at home!! This is horrible, off a protein bar! First after I ate it, i just had the burps, then the pains came..... then I'm guessing what everyone calls the "foamies" I think I had them too.... The protein bar has to be all out of me by now, and I'm still barfing!! and it comes all of a sudden too, my mouth waters a little, my pouch takes a flip, whew and that's it, time to run to the bathroom. And now it has no consistency, it's like slime, oh it's so awful. I tried to take a rolaids soft chew, it came up too, I know I have barfed 10 times. I don't know if I should try to eat anything later or not. Maybe some soup later, I can't even think about food right now!!! I'm not gonna make my protein today, not even close. I hope this passes soon, but I don't know it started a little after 2pm, and now it's 530pm.
On a good note, I did my measurements again, and I think I'm doing pretty good!! so here we go with my new size

Well, here I am again a little while later, i was feeling better so i decided to make a grilled havarti cheese sandwich, after about 4 bites, I got burps again, then the pain, then i barfed it all up too. Now im worried because i have not had nearly enough liquids or food today, i ate a cracker before the sandwich, and it stayed down, I did have a bowel movement, so i guess I'm not blocked up, i don't know. I sure hope it is not like this again tomorrow, then i will really be worried

Today is the 4th of July... I have enough food to feed 10 people... why? I don't know, i made kabobs and it made way to many, we may be eating these for a week or more!! Weight loss is still coming, although i do not weigh, i just judge by my clothes. People tell me I'm loosing weight, and my bra is minus some boobs (lol) I went to dinner with a friend last night after we saw Obsessed, we ate at chik filet, i got a grilled sandwich and a salad, i ate most of my meat, and a few bites of my bun, and a few bites of salad. My husband and I went to cracker barrel last week, and they allow anyone to order from the kids menu, so i got grilled chicken and a potato. So far no problems with food, shakes, bars.... I don't get it. I am very cautious though. I had some turkey and cheese and work yesterday, and I got the worst gas/burping spell, I had to go buy some gas-x thin strips, i took 3 of them, and all was well. Sometimes the protein is still hard to do, I bought the oh yeah shake, lots of protein and good... a little pricey, now i am drinking a MRI Pro-Nos it has 35 grams of protein and it yummy, although it was also about $3.00. I don't drink them all the time, just when I'm in a rush or need extra protein, like today. I found a pancake mix, that is sugar free, and only 6 carbs I topped it off with a piece of light maple sausage and sugar free syrup. it was more of a comfort breakfast, just trying to experiment with different foods, see whats filling, what shakes are good, some sugar free goodies and things like that. I still haven't been much on the exercise, i walk soooo much at work, and it's HOT i just cant seem to walk otherwise. i still do the wii fit a few times a week, mostly weekend and it kicks my ass. I can't wait to be below 200 sometime...hopefully sooner!! at least by my birthday in august
