7 month anniversary
posted on 12/6/09 6:33 pm
Today I am 7 months out from RNY.  Still doing okay, except my protein is LOW.  I have to do more labs this weeks at the hospital, my Dr ordered them on Friday, so I guess I will protein pack myself even more this week.  I have added 64g more of protein along with about the other 90-100g i usually have.  Since I am 7 months out today, I weighed myself... I am down to 180 even, that is from 264 since I started the process and since surgery.  That's 84 pounds so far.  Size 12's are a little loose.  I had a post-op support group meeting last Wens.  and they talked about getting your arms done, which I need!!! getting a TT which I need too, and doing BOOBS, and I need them too.  This is all included for free with my military insurance.  Well, if I stay for a night in the hospital, it a little over .00 for each day!  But, you have to meet specific guidelines...... be over 12 months, maintain a stable weight, be at or close to goal, have a exercise regime, be mentally fit, and have your LABS be perfect, well......I am think I can keep up with that, hoping I can get my protein up this time around! I really want the abdominoplasty, and the arms the most.  They will not do the thigh lift at all, so I can cross that off my list.  But, I am just glad I have had my RNY, best decision ever!! even if i never get any plastics.
