 I am new here and I have an appointment with a surgeon on Friday this week.  I am hoping to get a surgery date soon.  I really want to do this and I read things about complications and it makes me nervous.  I have done my homework and pretty much know what to expect, it's the unknown that is killing me.  The worry of complications.  I have never been tested for sleep apnea and I am wondering if this could be a problem.  Someone said they were told by their surgeon that if you have sleep apnea they have to be very careful because the anestisia labours your breathing and if you have sleep apnea it puts you at a higher risk.  Has anyone had any experience with this??  Any tips for a new girl at the starting line with her journey it would be appreciated.
