  • Arts - I love art, be it drawing, painting, coloring, museums...I love it all!
  • Books & Literature - I didn't used to like to read, but I do it much more so now.
  • Family & Friends - I love my family and friends!
  • Fitness & Exercise - When I did exercise, I loved TaeBo...that's what I plan to do after the surgery.
  • Humor - I LOVE to laugh...I was voted most likely to become a stand-up comedian in HS.
  • Dogs - I have a beagle, Ernie. He's my big sweetie!
  • Movies - I love, love, love movies!! Adam Sandler is my favorite!!
  • Tattoo - I love tattoos, and piercings as well. Currently I have 5 tats, and 12 piercings

  • Massage Therapist - I went to college for Therapeutic Massage, haven't done it much these days.

    Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

So...Here's Where I Am...

Alright...I go on Tuesday, the 23rd of this month to my nutritional class...beginning at 8:30 and ending at 4:30, with an hour break for lunch.  Pre-op blood work and xrays are going to be done on the 6th of November.  Then, of course, my surgery on the 19th, and it couldn't get here quicker.  I just know the time is going to creep by, but I'll try to make myself busy until it gets here.  Try just not to think about it...HAAAAAA RIIIIIIIIIGHT!  I'm way too excited not to think about it.  I think I'm still in shock.  I really can't believe it's going to happen for me.  I'm gonna be thin and healthy.  I can't wait!!!

I GOT A DATE!!

My surgery is scheduled for November 19th.  YAAAAAAAAAAY!  Heather called me today with the good news, and she told me she'll be contacting me again before Friday with a date to have all my blood work and Xrays done.  Then I'll have to set up a time and date to go to my nutritian class.  What wonderful news!! YAY!

More Good News

So...today I got the hard copy of my approval letter.  I faxed it over to Carmel Surgical Specialists at 4 pm.  In 7 - 10 days, I should have a surgery date.  I'm gonna take 3 weeks off work after surgery.  I hope that'll be enough time.  Anyway...I'm getting close!

So, my stomach is about to come out my head...I just got off the phone with the insurance company and low and behold...I'M APPROVED!!  They got my paperwork 3 weeks ago today, and now I finally know.  SHEW!  That just brightened my day A LOT!!  Now, to just get a surgery date...time to work on that!!  WOOHOO!!

Yep, Still Waiting

Tomorrow will be three weeks ago that the insurance recieved my information, so I'm going to be giving them a call again.  I'm gonna start callin' every couple of days I think.  I wanna get this show on the road, I've got things to do dang it!!  haha
