    I am happy to report that Amanda did great with her surgery today. I spoke with her husband Ernie and he said that everything went great and that she was groggy still from the surgery but in her room resting and doing well. Hurray!!!!

Hi all!  I know it has been a really long time since I last posted, sorry...  I have been loseing very slowly and actually have gain 5lbs.  Which is totally my fault!  I am eatting like crap again... and not working out...  So that will do it everytime. But I am getting back on track and going to be better, work harder and lose the rest of this weight.  I am starting to look at plastics but I have set a goal to lose at least 40 more lbs before I have work done. I want to be the smallest possible before I pay that much money to be fixed up...  I hope you all are doing well!  Have a great Memorial Day!

Well, this month I only lost 1 lb!  I have not been getting in the amount of protien that I need to be.  I am also eatting crapy, so, thats why.  I am on a misson to find a protien supplement that I can actually stand!  if not I will drink 4 glasses of non-fat milk a day!  ok.  so that is about all of that.

Hi all!  I have been doing really well.  I have been getting fustrated though with all of this extra skin.  It is driving me crazy!!!  I want to go and have it all cut off now! But, I know I have to wait. No reason to have it taken off now, when I will have to have more taken off later. So My stomach is so saggy, which is good but disgusting.  I will also have to have my boobs and legs done.  My legs are not super bad, but they annoy me. I hate the flapping after I stop walking. So, it is fun to have a new project, searching out plastics.  Even though I know it will be a while before I have them, I want to know everything before I get to that point.  Call it the teacher in me.

Ok so I have a huge wow moment!  I went to Costco to do some shopping and I showedmy card at the door and they were actually checking the cards, I have never seen them do this, normally we just flash it, and the said that the picture wasn't me.  At first I was really upset, telling them that it was me, and they said that I had to go and show my Id and get a new card.  At first I didn't realize what was going on and then it hit me, in that picture I was huge!  I no longer look like that person.  So I got a new costco card that has this amazing looking thin girl on it! Who knew!

Hi all!  I have been doing great!  I have lost a total of 94 lbs in 6 months!  I am wearing a size 16/18 bottoms depending on the maker, and XL misses tops!  That in its self is unbelviable!  I am taking my vits everyday (multi, vit c, biotin, calcium) and I take birth control.  That's it!  awesome, huh?! I can eat pretty much anything that I want just a way smaller amount and I have to be careful with sugar.  No more than 10 grams, I try to stay under 5, or else the dumping starts.  It has been much easier eatting, I finally feel like I have true control over food, it no longer runs my life.  Well, that is all for now.

My Story

Hi.  I am 27 and a mother of two beautiful boys.  My husband is very supportive of me having weightloss surgery.  I weigh 316 lbs and am 5'8".

I have been trying to have this surgery for a while.  But my doc said that I have some new co-mor-bids and kasier is only needing only one now with the 40+bmi, so with my three and a 46bmi this looks like the year that I will be able to have it!! Yea!

So everything got processed through Kaiser and they have a six month class that has to be completed before you can have the surgery. 

I started my class!!! I am so excited!  It is really great info.  I just wish it wasn't so long...
