 Good Morning Everyone,
  
               Today is Jan 24th,2011, I have 7 more days until my surgery. Over the weekend I attended a military ball and they served a great big dinner, I took a protein bar to eat while they was having dinner. Everyone was staring wondering I'm sure why I wasn't eating, but in about 6 months they will know why(LOL).....This diet has gotten easier everyday and I'm used to it now, I've been getting in all my water everyday...I'm so proud of myself....Also 1 other BIG accomplishment, I quit smoking on Dec 19,2010 and have been doing wonderful on that also...YAY for me!!!!!!!!!

2nd Day of Pre-op diet

Another day down on this diet....Shew, it's alot easier today then it was yesterday. I am making a trip to Knoxville tomorrow to exchange some of my food. I thought I was going to vomit eating the creamy chicken pasta yesterday and then last night I drank a chocolate protein shake..I'm going to pick me up some more Hot Chocolate, Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal, and  Chicken Bouillon..The Barbeque Crunch Chips are pretty good....12 more days to go

Hello Friends,
        I'm sorry I have not been online and updated anything....My daughter fell in our driveway and broke her ankle, she had surgery on Friday. My pre-op diet starts in the morning and I will be on it for 2 weeks...I will keep everyone updated on how it is going. Hope all goes well.

Surgery

I am from Tennessee. My surgery is scheduled for January 31,2011. Yes, I am excited, but scared at the same time....I am not looking forward to the liquid diet that I start in 10 days, but I keep reminding myself I have to do this to get to goal.. I weigh 269lbs at this time and my goal is to weigh at least 150lbs....

My Story

I am 40 yrs old and married with 2 children. I decided in 2010 I wanted to change the way I was living. I have tried many diets and failed. April 2000 I was in a size 12 and feeling great, as the yrs passed I just kept gaining weight and now I wear a size 24 and weigh 269lbs. I have been so depressed. Everytime I go in a store and try clothes on, I want to just cry. I have chosen to have the RNY gastric bypass surgery. My goal is to weigh at least 150lbs.
