3 months Post Op

yesterday was my 3 month post surgiversary lol...
i feel great! im currently down 79 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no longer in a size that has a 2 infront!!!!!!!!!! started in december in a 26 and im currently in an 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i can wear a juniors 2XL without having to stretch it one bit and without the print being distorted!!!
i will be starting regularly at the gym sometime this month because i cannot stand my loose flab everywhere UCK!!!
ive got less than 100 lbs to lose to meet my goal... which is something i seriously thought was never going to happen.... even just a few short months ago.
i am so happy with myself :)

12.25 miles

This weekend I participated in Relay For Life!!
I ended up walking 12.25 miles... definetly something I could NOT have done before GBS!!!
I am very proud of myself for this :)

Post Op - 2 Months!

2 months post op was yesterday!!! I feel great! I am STILL struggling with protein intake, but am doing a lot better on getting the liquids in :) I am on Stage 5 foods now... which is the end of the stages. I can pretty much eat anything... of course with rational exceptions... sugar, fatty foods, etc. I just ate a Vita Top Muffin for breakfast and its not disagreeing with me so thats a plus. breakfast is usually my roughest part of the day. I have also discovered that i LOVE pita chips mmmmm.... plain ones are all I have gotten so far but they are so good! Dip em in hummus or guac YUMMY!!!
I have started getting my butt on the treadmill last week. Its going slowly but its going and I feel better about myself about it every time i get on. I need to do some strength training because I hate my damn fat upper arms and thighs ughhh!!!
I now have an amazing guy in my life, he cares about me and loves my son as well!! hes just adorable and makes me happy :) I have known him for almost 10 years and when were together it just feels right. :D

now on to the rest of my life :)

weigh in today says that I am down 5 more lbs... which meansssssss


that is 1/3 of the way to my goal weight! :D 100 more to lose and ill be at my goalllll :D

Post Op - 1 Month!

well 1 month was yesterday, I meant to write a blog post then but never got around to jumping on the PC.

So 1 month post op I am down 45 lbs!! thats 26 lbs since surgery and 19 pre op!! :D I feel great most days! I am fitting into clothes that I have in a box deemed "when Im thinner" so thats pretty exciting!! Today I am wearing a shirt I was still afraid to put on because I thought it might be too tight and I didnt want to feel crappy about myself. But I put it on today and OMG it feels great to be able to wear another thing from the box!!! :D
I am also now in a size 22 pant from a 26. Though I only own 1 pair of capris in a 22 at the moment lol.

Food has been going alright, I only eat because I know I have to get the protein in.. im definetly not really ever hungry so half the time I forget to eat lunch, which i know isnt great. I have to start drinking some more protein shakes because to tell you the truth I havent had one in over a week... my protein intake is really low and I know this.
Liquids are going better, I am getting in about 2 bottles of water with crystal lite per day. or a cup of tea and a crystal lite. I KNOW i should be getting more in... but I really am working on it!!! *sigh*

Exercise.... well thats been pretty low and pretty much non existant. I have been spending a lot more time outside with X (when I am not at work) but my treadmill still stares at me nightly and I have yet to get on it post op. I really need to though because I HATE my nasty fat flabby thighs!! ickkk!!! lol I do have a coupon for a FREE week at the Ladies Workout Express so I think I might go check that out soon!!

All in all things are going well... post surgery wise anyway :)
