Thats whats Ive got so far this month. will update after the workshop tomorrow :)

Friday (2/19) was my PreOp. I got a gallbladder ultrasound and a chest x-ray.... then went and got my blood drawn, SO MANY VILES!!, and of course urine was needed too. which was kinda difficult as I hadnt drinken or eaten in over 8 hours. they also gave me stuff to bring back a poo sample =/ lovely! Then we went upstairs for my EKG which literally took a whole minute lol. After the EKG we headed to the caf so that I could get some water, which i chugged, in order to get some more urine because my little i could give was not enough!!
So all in all that went well, and am so glad to be one more step closer to surgery!!! :D

Waiting on Appointment date with the NP.

HOPING FOR SURGERY IN APRIL!!

went for my second appointment with the nutritionist today. we went over the post surgery meal plans and the supplements that i have to get. which was what i really needed/wanted to go over anyway. and she told me that she will see me after surgery to discuss the eating and meals for Stages 3 & 4. It was a pretty quick visit and she weighed me before the appointment and I AM DOWN 11 LBS!!! yayyyyy!!!! :D

Preop Stuff - this Friday 2/18 @ 10:30 (gall bladder u/s, bloodwork, EKG, chest x-ray)
Psych Workshop - Every monday in March

ive got my PreOp stuff scheduled.  its THIS friday (2/19) at 10:30 at Tobey!!! i go in at 10:30 for my gall bladder u/s then afterwards i can get my bloodwork, EKG, and chest x-ray done!!! :D
its not long now!!!

I had my second appointment today at the surgeons office, it was with their nurse practioner. I first got weighed and am down to 300.2 lbs!!! WOO HOO ive lost 10lbs!! i pretty much squealed with glee at that!  then she explained the next steps that are going to happen with the process. Preop things are what need to get done next. bloodwork, ekg, chest x-ray, gall bladder u/s, appt with pulminologist (something about anestesia). then i have another appointment with the surgeon in about 6 weeks (March 24th). I also am going to go through my 4 week seminar the month of March and then have an appointment with the nurse educator at the surgeons office to explain things pre during and post surgery. I can bring along a support person to that, so ill probably bring my mom... i know she wants to know whats going to happen, then she'll be able to talk to people about it afterwards instead of being clueless. I also have to stop my BC a month before surgery... something to do with estrogen levels for surgery.
So it was a great appointment the NP was very happy that I was/am following instructions and doing what I am supposed to do and that I am down 10lbs ready!! :D just about 5-10 more to go before surgery!!!!!

Had my 2nd eval yesterday and it went very well. We talked about why I want to do the surgery and what I plan on getting out of it, the good the bad. Then we talked about the 4 week workshop that I have to go to. Which will start March 1st. Im tentatively signed up for it until I pay my $500... =/  but I should be able to do that by the 12th, yay for TAXES!!!! :D so thats where I am at right now... steadily moving along and very eager!!

I have also lost atleast 5.5lbs. and I am so happy about that... it is keeping me super motivated! yayy!!
So appointments coming up are:

2/10/10 - 2nd appt. @ Surgeons office with NP
2/17/10 - 2nd Nutritionist appointment
