I talked to Vicki again, she is doing good... she got her I.V. out and her catheter, and is getting up and down on her own. She got a liquid diet and is keeping it down so far, she says she doesn't feel hungry and it's really difficult to make the meal last for an hour. Dr. Shina will be in sometime today to release her, but she doesn't know when, he is on call for several docs today... Vicki is anxious,and scared also, to get home.

I just talked to Vicki via telephone, she is doing pretty good , she has had a few visitors from our support group already... she has been up a few times also, says they are short staffed today, but Bob is there with her. She doesn't get anything to eat until Thurs., she has had some sips of water and done ok. I am sooooo excited for her, and can't wait to see her in person. I'll update again tomorrow !!!

Just recieved word from Vicki's husband , Bob, Vicki is doing fine, surgery went well, took 2 hours and 3 hours in recovery. She's taking FULL advantage of her morphine punp right now...I will call her tomorrow and post an update then also.

May the Lord always watch over you and keep you safe and guide your surgeon's hand. May you have mimimal pain, and bless you for your courage through this surgery! My date is on this Thursday. See you on the other side!!
