My Story

Where do i begin..... I have always been over weight.  I just turned 40 this year and it hit me if I want to be here for the next 20yrs or more, then I need to do something now.   I have a 3 yr old daughter and want to be here to watch her grow.  I was diagnosed with type 2 DIABETES in 1998 when I turned 30!! So it was Happy Birthday" to me.  I was put on an Insulin Pump in May 2004 after 2 miscarriages.  I have high blood pressure.  So I am ready for this "Life CHANGE". Hopefully I get approved for the surgery.  So my Journey began June 11th...........I attended the Informational, I had my first dietician appt, June 2, 2008.  Second one scheduled for July 7th.  July 1st I have to see the nurse, then the dietician at the WLS Dept.

Update:  I had RNY on December 17, 2008 my journey has begun......stay tuned
