Cats out of the bag ;)
Hey everyone! I didn't want to make a big deal out of it and tell every Tom, Dick and Harry, but my surgery is in 4 days.  I thought if I went around telling everyone on here, it would just get canceled again, and I couldn't handle that. So, 4 days! For those of you who have sent me messages saying "Oh no, you have given up?!" Psh, never! I called and bitched everyday until my insurance was back on and my date was scheduled. I started my lifestyle change in preparation for the surgery 3 weeks ago today, and I have lost 18 lbs. so far! I have gotten all my pre surgical testing out of the way, I just have to go for an ultrasound on my liver tomorrow (I guess they found fatty deposits on it, which is normal in someone my size.). After that, surgery on Monday! I have never been so ready for anything in my life. I feel bad for keeping you all in the dark, but I didn't want jinx anything! congratulations, I was wondering what happened with you. I am also having my surgery on June 30 @ 8:30 am. Maybe I'll see walking the halls. Best of luck.

Congratulations!! I had my surgery with Dr. Viglianco (Dr. Carauna's partner) on June 27 and am doing great.
