My surgery date is March 1, 2006 for the Lap RNY. I am very excited!! When I visited Dr. Barker's office I really didn't know too much about him. It's just that the Lord had to have led me there. When I walked in I was greated by the office personnel and was told (by one of the ladies) that my hair was beautiful! And she wanted to know where I got it done at. That really made me feel great! They were very helpful and quick. When I met Dr. Barker I first thought WOW! he is young and nice looking. He was very straight and to the point, answered all my questions. I have my last consultation on February 28, 2006 before the BIG day! And I am looking forward to meeting with Dr, Barker again. I have heard that he is a great doctor and does a great job with the surgery with minimal pain and complications.

    You look great. We favor a lot. I started at 303, currently at 145, four and a half years post-op. Recently found out we are expecting, so a little concerned about gaining weight, especially after the tummy tuck. My mother tells me that now I am everything I thought I was then! LOL. Keep up the good work, the best is yet to come.

2008 A New Year And New Beginnings!!

I am so excited about this year becuase I know it will be the year for me!! I speak this is the name of JESUS!! I have been through in 2007. But, check out what I said "through" which means I WILL come out of this situation. I have the victory!! 

This year will be the year that my modeling career will take off!! I have so many things in the making and I know there is so much more!

Let me let you in on a secret I will be the cover model for Tabu's Thick N' Sassy Magazine. It is a wellness magazine designed for plus-size women, so far it is a fabulous magazine and it's not just a plain ol' magazine we are doing fashion shows, having fundraisers for Obesity in Children and so much more! So, stay tuned and I will update you on when we will launch!

Guys check out my new modeling pics!! I just took these so this is how I look now!! God has been sooooo good with blessing me in prusing my modeling career!! I have a few things in the making that I am very excited about!! You all will see me somewhere either on T.V., Magazine, Fashion Show or Stage Play! Being Discouraged....We all go through this!

Tell me what makes you discouraged. 

Me first, I am so aggravated with the scale!! I am down 110 pounds and I am trying so hard to lose more weight but, the scale keeps telling me otherwise. It is fluctuating between 2 and 3 pounds! I want to throw it out the window! LOL!! :) WHEW!!!

Now, I feel so much better since I got my frustration off of my chest! Thank you guys for listening!

Have you always felt great about yourself? 

Hmmmm....that is a good question. I know I haven't always been. But, now I have a better outlook on everything. It is something how your weight plays such a vital role in your happiness. Tell me how you felt or feel now.
