William Graber
My First impressions of Dr. Graber was that he was a serious kind of guy but I later learned that he has a great sense of humour. During the consultation both Dr. Graber and his Nurse Educator where thorough in their explanations of the procedures as well as what to expect. Dr. Graber was also very honest about the risks, his complication rates and pain management.rnrnHe's staff at the clinic and at the hospital were phenomenal. Very kind and helpful. I loved the wall of inspiration they had at the hospital with pictures of staff who had WLS. Very inspiring. rnrnI also love the fact that there is a lot of emphasis on after care while at the hospital and even after discharge. More importantly, Dr. Graber and his staff were very prompt in answering any questions that I had after discharge. He is also very prompt in returning calls if you have to page him after hours. rnrnI would strongly recomend Dr. Graber to anyone who is considering a RNY.rn

Surgery Consultation
Well  just got back from Dr. Grabers office for my surgery consult - which went really well.  It was good to meet Dr. Graber and his team.  My surgery is tentatively scheduled for May 8th - although I know the time will fly by it seems soo far away.

Dr. Graber did say he wanted me to loose weight but would not give me a number of pounds.  I hate not having definative goals.  Also worried that I will gain weight .

Don't have to get much done before surgery - blood work, my PCP needs to fill out a form and an EKG.  Not bad.

I am confident that Dr. Wicklum/Dr. Dent's office will be able to fast track these appointments as they have been able to in the past.
