I am a little frustrated because this week I gained 1.8 lbs! I followed my diet to a T, drank my water, exercised & yet I still gained. I'm not going to let it get me down because I know that the human body is finicky. I know sometimes you can do all the right things and you might still not get the results you want BUT if you keep doing what you know is right then eventually your hard work will pay off. So even though the scale is up this week I know if I stick to my plan that eventually the weight WILL come off. I just have to keep going!
On a much more positive note though I rummaged through my closet this weekend and found several pairs of size 22 pants that I used to wear that I had outgrown. I also had two pair of jeans that I had ordered off of Groupon at least a year and a half ago that had never been worn because they were not as stretchy as the size 22s I had been wearing. I opened one pair and couldn't even get it over my thighs when they first came in. So I tried on all of my size 22s, including 3 pairs I had never worn (the 2 from Groupon and 1 pair of Levi's I'd bought a few months ago), on Saturday morning and they all fit! HUGE NSV for me!
My husband and I went to the NC Zoo on Saturday and I wore the size 22 Groupon jeans and they kept falling down! Maybe I won't be in a size 22 for much longer! So excited. I can't wait to get back into an 18 so I can finally be out of the sizes starting with a number 2. haha!
We did a ton of walking at the zoo on Saturday. I got in over 5 miles of walking for the day!
I'm just going to keep on plugging away over here! Happy to be seeing progress, even if it's not scale related!
