"This was my first time in as a "guest" at any hospital. I must say my surgery group took us for a tour of the ward we would be in post surgery and we met the nurse managers on the floor and this was extremely beneficial. We were treated as VIP's. This is big business for hospitals and they want our insurance money. We are very good customers and we need to demand good service. This hospital alone did 12 WLS surgeries in the month of June. At at least 35K per surgery that is big business annually a few million yearly. We need to realize that we are a huge customer base and embrace the idea. This hospital had over sized beds which were quite comfortable as well as oversized wheel chairs which helped. I also had an extra large recliner in my room which was quite nice Overall experience was excellent."
