I’m 8 days into 3 weeks of Optifast pre-op, and I had a slip up. I ate a can of Campbell’s chicken noodle soup. I feel so bad about it, but I just couldn’t resist. I’m hoping I haven’t ruined my hard work! 😭

My first day of Optifast. I’ve had 3 shakes. Tons of water. I have a banging headache and I just threw up fiercely. Anyone else have a tough first day?

Hi all,

Getting my kitchen in order before surgery so I have everything ready when I get home.

Questions: Do you have a favourite protein powder? Also, do you drink protein water as well?

My surgery date is February 20/19. I’m so excited and nervous at the same time. My Optifast starts January 30/19 for the full 3 weeks. Allowed 1 cup of greens a day. What greens did you find most satisfying? Any tips or tricks to get

Hi all,

I had my orientation on Feb 16 2018. Just got a call that I’m meeting with the Surgeon on April 13th. I’m with Humber River. Do I not meet with the nurse/dietician/social worker first? I’m so excited and ready to have the bypass.

Im so excited about starting this journey. My Orientation is on Friday Feb 16/18, and I want to do everything right. My Family Doctor filled out her questionnaire and I got it in the mail in plenty of time. I’ve picked up the workbook, $20. Worth it
