I have been fighting my weight for 30 years.  Up and down, up and down, up and down.  I can't even imagine how many pounds I have lost in all those years.  In Jan. 2016 I realized, it was time to start again.  I lost 55 lbs on WeightWatchers, with another 70lbs to go.  Toward the end of 2016, I got unmotivated and watched my weight start to creep up again, in the usual pattern, with no self-control.  I decided in Jan. 2017, that I was going to end up exactly where I started, probably with an additional 20 lbs.  Several friends had the VSG, and I decided I couldn't go backwards anymore; that it was time to stop the pattern.  Insurance wouldn't pay for it because I was basically a healthy fat person; despite the fact that every part of me was in pain at one point.  I realized it was a good investment, and was fortunate to have the money to pay for it myself.  Now the journey begins and I can't wait!!!!
