I hate it when this happens

I've been so good this week.  I have watched everything I've put into my mouth, and I haven't let a single process carb or gram of sugar pass my lips.  I've been to the gym a few times this week in addition to water aerobics the other days.  I was feeling pretty good!  I stepped on the scale this morning and I hadn't lost an ounce!  Now I understand that I've most likely increased lean muscle mass.  But the fact I've shrunk 1/8 of an inch around my hips just doesn't give you the same "Yippy" vibes as dropping a few pounds on the scale.  Sometimes life just wants to throw you a curve ball!
