Waiting and starving

my last nutritionist appointment was June 11 and the WLS center was to submit for.           insurance immediately after.  I am over 90 days  from my start date and have my clearances, finally!  (I had to go all the way to a cardiac catheterization to get cardiac clearance!Tomorrow  is the last day of the second week while I wait for my insurance approval.  I'm excited and a little bit anxious as I wait for the news.  My preop class is July 9, so in theory I could go anytime after that date.  

In the meanwhile, I'm trying out the (modified) preop  liver reducing diet. My BMI is 61.25 and doc wants it lower before my date. My fear is that if I don't  get it below 60, my surgery won't happen.  That fear is helping me resist temptation and resist that little inner voice tempting me, saying "nobody will know."  For the first time in a long time, I realize that me body will know and that's what counts!
