I started this journey over a year ago. I've done most of the diets and in 2007 managed to lose 90 pounds and maintain it until 2012 when I had a hysterectomy, since then I've yo-yo'd. Was denied surgery due to my surgeon not being center of excellence certified. I gained more and decided to self finance my surgery, but my surgeon saved me from that by some maneuvering. I found out Friday I was approved and am scheduled for surgery 2/12/18.
