KA., Good luck to you in your search for a solution to your needs. I am from Jamestown myself and am scheduled for my surgery on May 23, 2005! I am going to Rochester for my WLS since the do it laproscopically, as well as having a GREAT support system up there. Just remember don't expect it to happen too quickly....most Dr.'s want to be sure you understand that this is a life long change and that you are commited to it before he'll agree to the surgery. They'll help you through those steps as well, with various types of appts. you must attend. But it's all worth it...every minute and every mile I put on my truck!!! Dear K A.. I had the surgery on Feb 4th and doing great. There is a lot to it and you must be very careful afterwards to do as the drs tell you. So far I have lost 35 lbs in 3 weeks.
