Well, I went to my Dr Thursday because my incision was leaking some yellow/clear liquid. He checked it out and cleaned it out very well. They arranged for a nurse to come by my house and clean the wound and pack it daily (Yuck)I wish it would just hurry up and heal. I'd almost prefer the staples to looking down at a "pit" in my stomach. I just hate the way those q-tips feel as they swish around in the saline pool inside my wound as they clean it. Please heal quick, I'm gonna double my protein lol

Thanks for the support. I got home from hospital yesterday evening. Thankfully my mom came down to Texas from Mississippi and stayed with me in the hospital. It was really great to have her there. It's definitely weird now, I'm not hungry all the time anymore. I have to force myself to eat. I'm on the Full Liquid diet right now and haven't dumped or thrown up yet. *crosses finger* I am so craving some soft foods though.....cheese, grits, bread, salad and stuff. My father who is visiting was eating a salad from Mcdonald's today and man, it smellled so good, I wanted it so bad. But anyway, I feel really lucky and blessed. Thank you all.

The EGD was awesome, all I remember is going in and the nurse putting the thing in my mouth and that's it, next thing you know I was awake and in a room being asked how I felt. Guess I worried for nothing. The worst part of that was the $150.00 co-pay lol 4 days till I start the Opti-Fast diet, which the doctor says I need to do for the two weeks before surgery. Man, how the heck am I going to be able to only drink those shakes for two weeks, with my stomach being all "Hey, gimme real food!"
