hi there. I called Laura just now and talked to her and she sounds WONDERFUL! She was the first to have surgery today and went in at 7:30 a.m. Everything went well and she is up walking around already! She said her mouth is dry and she wants ice chips ;) She is on her way now!!!! :) I am glad I got to talk to you Laura and keep us posted on your progress! Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
