VICKI IS ON THE OTHER SIDE NOW SHE HAD RNY DISTAL DONE AT COMMUNITY HOSPITAL IN SPRINGFIELD, OHIO ON THURSDAY THE 28 TH OF JUNE. VICKI CAME THROUGH WITH FLYING COLORS AND IS NOW HOME RESTING TODAY JULY 2, 2001. SHE JUST HAD TO SHOW ME HOW IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE DONE. SHE REGRETABLY HAD TO STAY AN EXTRA DAY BECAUSE I, HER HUSBAND HAD MORE PROBLEMS AND DR. SPIER WANTED TO SEE ME THIS AM BEFORE HE WOULD RELEASE THE TWO OF US. GOD LOVE YA VIC, YOU DID IT HONEY. I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!! :O} BILL

My surgery is tomorrow, June 28, at 11:30 a.m. and I can't believe it's finally here. I believe in the power of prayer and I'm asking all of you, my friends at AMOS to say a little prayer for me. Thanks for being there for me on this journey. So far it's been quite a rollar coaster ride with struggles with insurance, and your posts have meant a lot to me. Your poetry has been inspirational, your stories have made me laugh and made me cry. See you all on the other side!! Love, Vicki

Honey, Good Luck ! I know its been a long time comming but, you'll be so happy when your on the other side with me. It has been a long road for both of us. I just cann't waite till we are thin again. You have seen how well Dr. Speir's done with me. Now it is my turn to be the tattle tail.

Vicki, I know you will do just fine. My prayers are with you. The experience is wonderful and I have never regretted the decision. Keep a positive attitude and take each day one at a time. My surgery was in January and I am down 63 pounds. You sent me a message a few days before surgery and said you were having your surgery in a few months...see how time flys? LOL Best of luck from a fellow Ohioan.
