Jennifer, Just want to say best wishes to you as you take this huge step to becoming healthier.I had surgery Dec 10,2001 and I am doing great. It will be rough for a few weeks but you will be strong. Hi Jen, another 5-day post-op here, but you knew that. LOL, Well baby girl, your day is coming, and it isn't a walk in the park. But a walk in the park and so much more is why we are doing this, right! God Bless you sweety, I'll be praying for you.

Hi~~ Just wanted to wish you ALL the best with your upcoming surgery. I'm 5 days post op and know the first couple of days are gonna be rough on you....in fact up until Saturday morning in the hospital, I couldn't believe I'd put myself thru such hell (nose tube, IV, etc). The soreness hasn't been a big issue for me yet---liquid or crushed ibuprofen seems to be working ok. My advice for anyone after surgery: as soon as the doc/nurses give you leave to walk, do as much of it as possible. It'll get you home quicker. Lord bless and keep you as safe & comforable as possible.

Jennifer, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine in November 2000, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
