Sue, Happy New Year! I'm happy for you that your day is just about here. If your surgery goes anywhere as well as mine did, you'll have made a great choice. I was just thinking what the holidays would have been like this year WITHOUT this surgery....ugly. Since Thanksgiving I've lost another 6 lbs and I'm a few pounds from the century club. It's all in front of you; congratulation and best wishes,

Sue, Hope you have a safe surgery and uneventful recovery...except for great weightloss! I'll have surgery on 1/12, so I'm not far behind! Take care, Allison in Texas

I wanted to wish you well with your upcoming surgery. I hope that all goes well and that you are up and out and about real soon. I'll bet you are are doing a happy dance accompanied by a bundle of unwanted "NERVES", but don't worry be HAPPY! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Good Luck!

Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).
