Lori C, we had our surgery on the same day. How are you doing? I pray everything went well for you and you are feeling good about yourself. You are very brave and even though you may have some down days, everything will be great in the long run. I am doing well and would love to correspond with you. Take care, Linda Crumley, Riverdale, GA

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! The next year is going to be the most amazing of your life. I know that you must feel as anxious and nervous as I did ten months ago. But soon this waiting game will only be a memory and you will be on to your new life. I am 10 months post op and I have lost 130 pounds. I went from a size 24 to a 4 in a little over 6 months. Miracles do and will happen for you. I have tried to keep a profile that can be used as a resource for pre-ops. That answers all of the questions that I had when I was in your shoes. And links to various places to do more of your own research. If you have any questions or just need someone to talk to that understands please feel free to email me. Lori, we have all had those last minute jitters. I had to keep in mind that I wasn't happy and I really wasn't living a life a wanted. I woke up every day thinking about my weight and hating what I saw in the mirror and family photos. I could not bear to live my life like that and had exhausted every diet avenue. I am so happy not to have that stress anymore. I just met a lady 2 weeks ago who used Dr. Champion. She looks and feels wonderful and she was 1 week post-op. I used Dr. Daly in Atlanta. I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery!
