Laurie, Sheila and I tried to get in to see you yesterday, but the nurses were very protective of you. I wanted to kiss your cheek and tell you that Dr. McCarty said you are going to get better. Your husband says you are ready to fight to get better and back home. Good attitude! Just know there are a whole lot of people praying for you and that I love you and want you well!

I talked with David, Laurie's DH, and she is still in ICU, having more tests, hoping they will not have to go back in and do more repairs. Please everyone pray for Laurie and her family.

Laurie, my dear surgery buddy! I am so sorry to hear about the complications. I know you have been back in ICU for the last week and I am praying constantly for you! Know that you are loved and all of us at Dallasites are keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Hi Laurie, Hey surgery buddy! Are you excited, or what?!?!? We are going to do great and be laughing and walking around the hospital right away. I just know it! I hope we get to share a room. See you after surgery. P.S. Happy B'day!

Well Laurie the day is getting close and it has not been but 5 weeks since I had my surgery. I can tell you from personal experience that God was the one who got me through the surgery. He gets me through each day and He took every fear I could possibly have away. I knew that no matter what the outcome God had me in His hands and everything would be alright. I pray that God will give you the peace of mind that I had when I entered into surgery and still today. God Bless you and remember look to Him he will never let you down.
