Debbie, Try calling celebration health, I read that they are doing this surgery there and they probably have a support group. Best of luck to you.. Happy Holidays :o)

Hi Debbie: I know how you feel. have you thought about eating beef jerky? I am 5 weeks post op and I enjoy eating beef jerky for a snack or a meal. I also enjoy salmonpatties, vegetable soup, and Procipine meat balls. my moms resepies. salmonpatties are made by, 1large can of pink salmon, crackers, 2 eggs and mix them up and form in patties and only put a little oil in a pan and brown on both sides. They are so tasty if you like tuna, or salmon. Porcipine meat balls is made like this mix hamburger,long grain rice,celery, onions to gather. then form into balls and pour tomatoe soup on top and bake for about 30 to 45 min. I hope you do ok with these recipies. I am just 5 weeks post op from OPEN RNY surgery and I am doing fine with my food issues. I have lost 43lbs in just 4 weeks and 15 inches. DEBBIE IS A LOSER!!!!!! YEAH!!!!! SHE'S HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL, BUT IN A LOT OF PAIN. EVERYONE SAY A LITTLE MORPHINE/DEMEROL/LORTAB PRAYER FOR HER UNTIL THIS PART FADES.

Hello all of you wonderful fat and formerly-known-as-fat people. Debbie is at the hospital becoming into a loser as we speak.
